Small Group Study Tips

fromtheblogThe optional study guide and small group outline add-on provides small group leaders with a clean step-by-step curriculum written by the author, Mike Sarkissian. The guide provides small group leaders with an easy-to-follow weekly outline that demands minimal study and preparation time making it perfect for bi-vocational leaders. The study guide is laid out so simply that it allows almost anyone to become a small group facilitator.

Here is a message from Mike to small group leaders:

“As you work your way through the book and meet with your group, one of your duties will be to lead group prayer. Our intentions are to provide you with this study guide to take most of the study/teaching burden off your shoulders, but as a leader you will be expected to not only facilitate healthy biblical discussion but also to lead God’s people in group prayer.

Our recommendation to you is to jump ahead to chapter fifteen of the book and read the section on Public Prayer on pages 171-177. This section will give you some great biblical examples of public prayer to think about as well as some additional suggestions that you may have not yet considered in your Christian walk. The section will equip you ahead of time so that your group begins strong and depends on prayer throughout.

Finally, if at any time you encounter questions during your study group meetings that you aren’t comfortable answering, we want to let you know that we are here to help you in getting the right answer. Simply contact us through our website and we will get back to you as soon as we can.”
